The three new books we feature this month were written by giants in the Self Help/Religion publishing world. Some more spiritual than others, that all have keys to awaken our senses to a better life.

Sarah Van Breathnach's book was written for women, but not exclusively. It is a huge selection of short articles about the joys of the things that are around us everyday. The fun of a cookout, the warm feeling of arriving home after a long trip, tomato sandwiches and margaritas, a good cry. I found this to be one of the best books on Prosperity I have ever picked up.

Wayne Dyer's new book is another small, compact, beautifully illustrated book that makes a wonderful gift item. This one comes with a CD that gives explicit instruction on "why and how to meditate." He suggests that some of the many reasons for meditation include reducing stress, cultivating a sense of peace, eliminating fatigue, slowing the aging process, improving memory, finding clarity of purpose, and even healing. Who wouldn't want the healthy, happy, and purposeful life that could be the result of these benefits?

THE NEW REVELATIONS is Neale Donald Walsch's latest Conversations with God series. The study group that meets at Unity Center on Sunday evenings is now studying this book. IF I could summarize this book in one sentence, and I can't, it would be a line from the book that is a quote from Gandhi. "Seek not, therefore, to change the world.
