- If the old saying is true that April showers bring May flowers, then Tulsa will be
blessed with an abundant display of God’s spring creations. May is also a month of
many days of celebration: Cinco de Mayo, National Day of Prayer, Shavuot, Pentecost
Sunday, Memorial Day, lots of birthdays, and of course, Mother’s Day. We should make every day a special day in our lives, but Mother’s Day is a very
special celebration for all of us whether we still have our moms with us or only in our
hearts. It is a day to pamper, give special attention and lots of special love, or pause and
give thanks for beautiful memories.
Mothers and Moms deserve our special attention not only on Mother’s Day, but
every day. They deserve special respect from all of us. They deserve our continued
prayers and we need to thank God for the mothers he has blessed us with.
