Jan says she has dedicated this newest CD to her best friend, Jesus Christ. "He is
more than wonderful to me. He guides my life daily, whispers in my ear which way I
need to go. Because of His life, I have an example to follow and a Trail Blazer going
before me." I believe her because you can hear it in her voice.
Of the eleven selections on this album, I must say that MORE THAN
WONDERFUL is my favorite, followed closely by HOLY GROUND. Because of her
warm, heart-felt presentations, this is an album you will set on "repeat" and play all day
long, and find yourself singing along. Before you know it your heart will be lifted and the
whole world seems brighter. All of Jan's albums are that way.

From Unity Church of New York comes a singing group that is unique and rare
for Unity churches. Paul Tanaglia, founding minister of Unity Church of New York, had
the inspiration for this vocal ensemble over fifteen years ago. He gave birth to it in 1996.
Spiritus created waves of raves at their guest appearance for the Unity Peoples
Conference in Overland Park, Kansas, this past July. Now, with their first CD we can
enjoy these bright, young voices as they bring a contemporary sound to songs of love and
healing. They present a diverse selection of twelve numbers from Broadway to the Unity
Hymnal, to a rousing patriotic AMERICA, THE BEAUTIFUL (PAINTED RED, WHITE,
AND BLUE).
For the fans of contemporary Christian music, this album is a must. For the rest,
there is definitely something here for you, too.

This group was formed while Marianne Williamson was the leader of Unity
Church of Today, now Renaissance Unity, in Warren, MI., just outside of Chicago. An
ensemble of fourteen singers and five musicians create a sound that is very reminiscent
of much larger choirs. Being a smaller group the intricate harmonies are much more
distinguishable than in larger choirs, which is very pleasing to the ears. THE GOSPEL
TRUTH is a Gospel sound that is not heard often in Unity churches where more
traditional music is the norm. This group proves how important an exciting music
program can be to a successful, thriving church.
From high spirited to solemn praise and worship, this album offers a variety that
is a pleasing experience to all who love Christian music. "Hallelujah Is The Highest
Praise" by soprano soloist Juliaette Hamilton will send your heart soaring!
The intricate accopella harmonies of "A Quiet Place", with solos by Kim Lange and
Michael Brock, is a treat for any musical ear.
